Dianne & Adinath

It is an honor to be able to contribute financially to the eye camp, which would have never been possible without the compassion of Gurudev and all the volunteers.

This financial gift is from Dianne, in her and Baba’s honor.

Due to a fortunate birth, Dianne and I were able to have a successful business. Dianne always wanted the business to help others in some way…not just us. Before her death on Oct 7, 2004 we talked about how we could start helping others, as through our own suffering, we came to have great compassion for those less fortunate than us.

Only a week before Dianne left this world, even though she was very weak, she drew a picture of a smiling girls face (her face), and wrote the words “Love to All”. In honor of her love, this donation is being made in her memory.

Dianne spent a lot of time in India. She loved its people, the culture and India’s gift to the world…its wise teachers. Dianne met Baba in 1977. While at the Ashram in 1985, Dianne wrote her family a letter in which she said,

“Time seems to disappear altogether here. Ganeshpuri is in a different realm to the rest of the world - so peaceful, still, beautiful & joyful - every care & worry leaves the mind. The shakti hangs so thickly over the Ashram that well-being, peace & contentment accompany you whether sleeping, working, walking around or anything. It is such a marvelous experience. You begin to realize what your true state really is. When Baba says - “Rest in the Bliss of the Self”, I know what he means.

It’s much more preferable than resting in the ever active mental plane!”

Baba gave Dianne the greatest gift of all - the direct experience of her own Self. Thanks to Baba, Dianne was able to leave this world in peace, immersed in the Stillness of her own Self.

“Love to All”.
