This is the update on the progress made on the Walden Building Project.

Ground breaking ceremony was conducted on May 16, 04.

Shanti Mandir has received the town approvals for the Master Plan.  Construction for Phase 2 will comence and we plan to have the buildings ready by summer of 2005.

You can become a part of the age old tradition of charity and taking an active interest in creation and maintenance of ashrams. We invite you to look at your resources including approaching your larger circle of influence and exploring other avenues of raising funds.

After the Ground Breaking everyone honored the land by offering flowers with love and devotion.

As per the Site Plan, there will be a Welcome Center, Satsang Pavillion, Barn and 4 Cottages for people to stay.

Each cottage will be able to accomodate 12 people.
