Life is short and full of worldly conflicts, and no one knows when death will call. Death cannot be avoided but can be conquered by remembering Shiv and repeating His name. This is why Shiv is called Mrityunjay - one who conquers death.
Shanti Mandir, Magod celebrated the auspicious occasion of MahaShiv Ratri by chanting for five days the mantra Om Namah Shivaya from morning of Saturday 14th Feb. upto 18th eve. Thereafter there were four sessions during the whole night for Shiv Poojan................. The festival concluded with Bhandara on February 22nd Sunday.
