Shanti Darshanam is an expanding program of yoga study currently held in residence at the Shanti Mandir ashram in Magod, Gujarat. The next series of courses in January 2012 facilitate a comprehensive exploration of complete yoga practice, including the underlying foundational principles of yoga wisdom and application. The two courses on offer meet the needs of students who want to receive certification to teach Hatha Yoga and/or serious students of the tradition seeking to deepen both experience and understanding of authentic Yoga practice.
Shanti Darshanam courses further the initiative established by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nityananda to preserve and contribute to the cultural and scriptural wealth of India. These internationally accredited courses are facilitated by qualified teachers and are conducted while Swamiji is in residence at the ashram.

The Sanskrit word darshanam may be translated as “receiving inspired vision”, to see with subtle perception and insight. Shanti means peace, particularly steadfast inner peace.
