WELCOME 2005 at SHANTI MANDIR, WALDEN

In the depth and cold of winter, nature's fruition rests. Though we welcome the loving company of our family and friends as we celebrate the holidays, we also quietly consider and plan for what is to come.  A new year begins and we recommit ourselves or aspire to accomplish new goals. Regardless of what we want to accomplish, whether it be material, physical or spiritual - focus and fortitude are always required. By continually developing and fortifying these inner strengths - all other goals are easily reached.

What better way then to mark the beginning of another new year than with the inspiration, steadiness and strength that come from spending time in the company of the Guru, the inspiring atmosphere of satsang, and a day filled with meditation?

You are invited to celebrate the arrival of 2005 at Shanti Mandir along with Gurudev Nityananda and other devotees for a program that includes an extended New Year's Eve kirtan on Friday, a New Year's Day Living Meditation Intensive on Saturday and on Sunday - Morning Satsang!

"Together we can participate in the spiritual practices, celebrate satsang, and rest in the peace the ashram offers. My wish is that as people walk in the gate, they feel the presence of their own divinity and the truth within."
